Early this morning Senator Noynoy Cojuangco Aquino, son of the late Senator Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino and Former President Corazon Cojuangco Aquino, announced that he will run for President on May 2010 election exaclty the 40th day of his mother after the death of his mother. It's the people's choice and believed that he will be a good leader to run our country at this point in time as he was the son of the most prominent couple who served best for the good of the Filipino people.

At the Club Filipino in Greenhills, San Juan City, the same venue where his late mother took her oath as president in 1986, more than 800 people showed thier support for Noynoy including the presence and blessings of his family. Nonoy made a statement that our nation is in need of a good leader that will lead on what his parents fought for and that will continue to bring back the democracy so that we will enjoy our freedom once again that it was clear this day that it was gradually been gone at this point in time. Let me share Noynoy's declaration.“Tinatanggap ko ang hiling ng sambayanan. Tinatanggap ko ang tagubilin ng aking mga magulang. Tinatanggap ko ang responsibilidad na ituloy ang laban para sa bayan. Tinatanggap ko ang hamon na mamuno sa laban na ito. Tatakbo po ako sa pagka-pangulo sa darating na halalan (I accept the voice of the people. I accept the advice of my parents. I accept the responsibility to continue the fight of the people. I accept the challenge to lead in this fight. I will run in the coming elections.
