Our election is now automated and casting our vote on election time will be our first time to use the Automated Election Machine or AEM. Since it will be used electronically then the results will be faster than the usual manual election. Right after you cast your vote, it will be verified and counted automatically through the use of Automated Counting Machine or ACM or the PCOS or the Precinct Count Optical Scan machine. According to the Comelec, three days is enough to know the overall results of the election.
Before casting your vote, there will be a ballot that will give to you by the election in-charge or BEI in your particular precinct and in that ballot are the names of all the official candidates whose names are besides the oval shape that will be shaded properly with the candidates that you will vote. Easy di ba? No need to be a computer literate.
Just a reminder. The choice is yours and vote for the best. Remember that our future depends on yours. Goodluck to our country. Here are some educational videos on May 2010 election and on how to cast your vote courtesy of COMELEC.
