Today, I have encountered another experienced that tested myself how toughed I am regarding decision making. Being a first timer elected as treasurer of the Senior Parent Teacher's Association to my daughter 's school....parents and teachers knows me well and as my daughter being the top of her class from grade 1 to present and not to mention the awards which  my daughter had brought to this school from different academic contests.

I have nothing to boast about myself neither to my daughter's pride but this is just a part  of my experienced which I just wanted to share.

Did you ever asked by a friend to lend some money? Why not, if it's important and if needed badly. As the saying goes “It is better to give than to receive”. But, the thing is..had it paidback....or paid you after a week or a long month of hopeless credit? Kind words would be accepted.

A friend is a friend and we live by principles. We know that there are boundaries behind friendship that we don't want to break..with deeper respect and understanding...but we encounter friends who never value friendship..they put you into a situation that seems to be unfair...they value friendship but they never live by principles. They never care if something miserable might happened and not until you realized your just a damn good thing entered into a situation looking now for a solution to a problem that your friend have caused you.You become troubled and restless.A neighbor and a relative might as well be one, too.

 

When my friend, a colleague and a four time President of  the PTA asked me to lend him an amount of money which he said  that I will get to the PTA's money that his niece needed to his project .. an agreement written in a piece of paper which clearly indicated the possibility to lend him handed down over to me....no doubt that this friend of mine  never knew what my innermost personality just as he only sees through me literally and physically my carefree smiles. I tried to calmed down and said that I can lend and give you all the needed money but with the purposed of PTA's project and nothing more.I hope you understand.

A week later, I never knew what could I say to this friend of mine..I might as well disappoint him. But I said to myself that it will be a bigger disappoinment to me and to my family and I cannot forgive myself to commit such mistake. Secondly, what parents and teachers or the whole association might say?  

I thought this friend of mine has deeper sense of responsibility and generous enough towards his actions. Lending the money of our association... I wish he could not asked me again and look for another excused. I'm about to become allergic to his manner.

I value friendship with principles. I will be your true friend but can be your worst enemy. I can give  what's best for you but never try to bring myself to harm or cause my reputation to anyone.

Maybe, I have to think back again who's my true friend and disregard who's not. I hope this is a reminder to everyone. Just look around. Think twice. Think wise and Think again.
